Places to Eat
Pat’s Kitchen: Dine at our local Main Street Cafe, with amazing food, this family friendly restaurant offers culinary choices for everyone.
The Store: ‘The Store’ is fully stocked with all of the grocery essentials and is also a licensed liquor sales establishment.
Chesterfield & Tea House: In the summer months come try out our scenic tea room right next to the Acadia Valley Prairie Elevator. Delicious food served fresh daily.

Places to Stay
Acadia Valley B&B: The Valley B&B located just outside of Acadia Valley and off the 41 highway. A private cottage with gourmet breakfasts, even accommodations for horses, is operated by Bert and Shirley. Call (403) 664-0222 to book your stay!
Local Campgrounds: For the camping enthusiasts, the MD of Acadia has two Campgrounds, Marshall Field and Acadia Dam Campgrounds. Contact the MD Office to book: (403) 972-3808
Mini Motels: In the surrounding area stay at one of many Mini Motels, located in Oyen, just 20 miles north of Acadia Valley.
The Canalta Hotel: The Canalta Hotel is located just off the number 9 highway just outside of Oyen. Free internet, continental breakfast, wheel chair access, and pet allowances. Call (833) 320-9997 to book.

Things to Do
Acadia Valley Dam: Come visit the Acadia Valley dam great fishing, and camping it’s the perfect family friendly option all summer long.
Shirley McClellan Aquatic Centre: The facility is located in Oyen and includes a Junior Olympic size pool, a zero-depth entry pool, a water slide, a lazy river, a water umbrella, and a volcano seat.
Oyen Golf Course: Oyen golf course for those who are sportsmen, and just for fun. This nine hole golf course also offers a licensed bar and restaurant.
Forks Prairie Orchard: Forks Prairie Orchard is a beautiful sight right next to the river located near Empress, the orchard offers organically grown fruit and vegetables.

Things to See
Prairie Elevator: The Prairie Elevator and tea house in addition to its fresh food, and unique gift shop is a historical local sight. Restored elevator and caboose, is an iconic prairie landmark and a fun and interactive way to explore the history of the prairies.
Sage Brush Studios:Sage Brush Studios Sage Brush studios is an oasis in the heart of the prairies, original paintings by Dean Francis and twenty acres of prairie gardens. Two art shows held annually come browse the collection of incredible artwork and breathtaking views.
Crossroads Museum: Crossroads museum in Oyen, offers and exceptional variety of artifacts and eight museum display buildings, sure to please anyone.
